By booking a service with A OK Cleaning you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
1. About Us
A OK Cleaning is a Sydney-based professional cleaning business providing residential, commercial, strata, and specialist cleaning services across Greater Sydney. We have been operating since 2002.
2. Services
All services are carried out in accordance with the scope agreed at the time of booking. We strictly follow our cleaning checklist and only complete tasks included in the confirmed booking.
Any additional services requested on the day are subject to availability and will be charged separately. If additional work is not agreed upon, only the originally confirmed scope will be completed.
Results are based on the condition of the property at the time of service. Properties in significantly worse condition than described may require additional time or charges.
3. Quotes and Bookings
All quotes provided via phone, email, or our website are estimates based on the information you provide. The final price may be adjusted if the property condition is significantly different to what was described, or if additional services are requested.
A booking is confirmed once you have received confirmation from us via phone or email.
4. Payment
Payment is required before or upon the commencement of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Work will not commence until payment has been received.
We accept bank transfer and card payments. An invoice will be provided upon completion of the service.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a booking in circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to weather, traffic delays, illness, or other unforeseen events.
6. End of Lease Cleaning
For end of lease cleans, we clean to a professional standard consistent with real estate inspection requirements. Our aim is to leave the property in a condition that supports a full bond return.
If a cleaning-related issue is identified during the property inspection, please contact us promptly and provide supporting evidence such as an agent report. We will assess the issue and where it falls within our original scope we will endeavour to return and rectify it at no additional cost.
This does not constitute a money-back guarantee or bond refund. We do not pay, reimburse, or guarantee bond money under any circumstances. The remedy offered is a return visit to address cleaning-related items only.
This offer becomes void if another cleaner or third party attends the property after our service, if the property condition changes after completion, or if full access is not provided for the return visit.

The following are not covered under any circumstances:
8. General, Deep and Regular Cleaning
For general, deep, and regular cleaning services we do not offer a re-clean or refund once the team has left the premises. Clients are encouraged to inspect the property upon completion. If you are not present during the clean, photos can be provided upon request.
Once our team leaves the premises the job is considered complete and accepted.
9. Commercial and Strata Cleaning
For commercial and strata cleaning, work is completed strictly based on the agreed scope. Any additional tasks are charged separately. No guarantee or re-clean applies unless agreed in writing prior to the service.
10. Access and Property Conditions
You must ensure:

11. Parking
You must provide suitable parking for our team at or near the property. If parking is not available, all associated parking costs must be covered by the client.
12. Liability and Damage
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues outside our agreed cleaning scope.
Please inform us of any fragile, valuable, or high-risk items before the service begins. We are insured for accidental damage caused during cleaning, subject to assessment and review.
13. Health and Safety
Pets must be secured away from areas being cleaned during the service. You must provide a safe working environment for our team. We reserve the right to refuse or cease service if conditions are deemed unsafe or hazardous.
14. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control including weather conditions, traffic delays, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
16. Refund Policy
We operate a strict no-refund policy. All sales are final once the service has commenced. Where an issue falls within our end of lease checklist, we will return and rectify as outlined in Section 6. No monetary refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
